Do You Know the Difference Between Social Media Platforms

Make sure you posting the right thing in the right Social Media Platforms

Last week, a client stated that “Instagram and Twitter and Facebook are all the same”. This could not be further from the truth. From a copywriter and social media marketing perspective, small businesses often make a significant mistake, usually due to time constraints. This problem is that all of their social media platforms are simply repeating and retweeting the same stuff. Each platform is designed in a different format, with a different intention.

Believe it or not, we recommend simply focusing on the platforms where your target audience spends the most time, but also the platforms where you actually enjoy posting. If you hate posting all the time under a restricted word count, maybe Twitter is not for you. Also, If you loathe editing photos and simply can’t wrap your head around design. Perhaps Instagram should not be your primary social media account. If you want to share loud and clear statements or rants about your emotions, Facebook might be the best place for you online.
